Greetings from East Africa!
The machinery is clearing the land! In
just a few days workers will begin digging the layout for
the foundation of Yesu Afayo Primary School and Jubilee
Children's Home.
We are beginning to set up the staff and
get things in order for the opening of classes. The first
half of the construction should be done in about four or
five months. This will be the administration wing, multi
purpose building as well as the two kitchens, library and
class rooms.
The next phase will be living quarters
for up to 300 orphan children. From there we will proceed
to the third phase which will be a classroom block for
upper class primary children. In this phase we plan to
include a special area devoted to teaching the arts such
as music - band and orchestra. We will begin collecting
various instruments such as violins of various sizes. We
will also be needing trumpets, clarinets, as we plan to
provide a strong program for music.
We look forward to the opening of classes and providing
the wonderful opportunity for children that this school
and children's home will offer.
We just got in from spending this last
week out west. Great crusade. Many saved. Several powerful
healings including eyes, deaf and dumb! We leave in the
early morning (Monday, Feb. 10) for up country again. Will
be back next weekend.
When you get a chance, please let us hear
from you soon. We enjoy receiving e-mail's and updates
from back home. Thanks! E-mail us at
